Art Link Exchange
ArtLink ExChange is the region's leading Community Arts organisation. We provide opportunities for people to get involved in the arts, especially those who are excluded from general arts provisions. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from the Arts.
The 18 month North Hull pilot project ended in July `98 and the 24 month ArtLink HU6 project began in November `98.

CHILDREN and YOUNG PEOPLE
Refugee Lifeline
Funded by the Diana the Princess of Wales Memorial Fund
Project area: Yorks and Humberside, organisation based in Sheffield
£150,041 over three years to create a unified voluntary sector refugee service organisation for young refugees and asylum seekers.

EDUCATION and TRAINING
Hull City Libraries
are working in partnership with the Wyke Area Committee of Hull to develop a collection of multi-cultural library resources for asylum seekers, refugees and their families, resident in the Wyke area of Hull. 

HEALTH
Mental Health Resource Project, Hull
This project is run by the Tuke Centre, part of a psychiatric hospital, involved in supporting services for the mental health of refugees since 1995. The project will provide training and consultations to statutory agencies in Hull, such as social services and primary healthcare services, to enable them to carry out sensitive needs assessments of young separated refugees, and improve professionals[base '] understanding of the impact of loss and trauma.

Smoking Cessation
Project run by HALT, funded by Department of Health.
Cessation among asylum seekers and refugees Through the Asylum Seekers Health Group, plan, facilitate and evaluate a smoking cessation programme tailored to the needs of asylum seekers and refugees in Kingston upon Hull.
